Editing workshop 1

 In today's workshop, we edited clips that we had recorded after learning to set up the cameras and tripods in preparation for our opening sequence filming day. 

We were taught how to import the videos into a 'bin' and then to press spacebar to watch them back before dragging them over to cut or drop in and out of the clip. It is important to remember to save by pressing 'COMAND S' often so that your work is not lost. You can lengthen clips by dragging it out longer or shorter. 

When you import more clips eg. Close up's over the mid shot, you drag it over/ on top of the last clip so that when you press play it will preview you the first clips. The timeline is when the clips are edited and you watch them back on the preview screen.
